I Will Be Victorious!

Some ladies in my ward started a Biggest Loser competition for the next 6 weeks. I totally joined in so I can finally lose those last 15 pounds. It started yesterday and we have weigh in every Monday at 6:30 am. The person who loses the most every week gets $10 and whoever loses the most in six weeks gets the pot, which will probably be around $220. Hey-that's a couple new summer outfits I could get! It was funny to see all the women running around the neighborhood (myself included) yesterday morning. I totally want to win but don't know because I was the second lightest person (I guess I'm not as bad as I thought!) to weigh in. I've heard that the farther you are from your goal weight, the easier it is to lose weight at first. But I'll give it all I got because my 10 year H.S. reunion is also in about six weeks and it would be great if I could be smokin' hot to make all the boys jealous (totally kiddin' but you know what I'm talking about Britney and Heidi!). Wish me luck; keep me motivated; and please no baked goods delivered on my doorstep (that's what I'll be doing to all the other contestants!!!).

Good luck! I hate dieting but I really need to shed a few pounds. If you find a really good way to lose the weight let me know. I am always open for new ideas. I hope you win!

You go girl! I will be cheering you on! Seems crazy that we've been out of high school for 10 years - yikes!

I've heard of a few neighborhoods doing this and it sounds like a great motivator. Good luck and keep it up. We all look forward to hearing about the progress.

That's hilarious! I love it and am curious to hear how it goes. I just joined the Y in my neighborhood and am so glad to be working out again. Let's see if I can lose my 15 lbs in 6 weeks, too!

I too am on Operation Class Reunion as I like to call it. I've been running for months now but finally started doing the 6 am gym thing for the last 3 weeks to get the muscle toning in. It's kicking my butt...but I suppose that's the point. Hopefully I can be ready to finally join the crazy clan of Loveless runners for the 1/2 marathon this summer! Good luck and keep it up!

Well, look at all you gals getting fit for the reunion!! I'm jealous because I get to just sit here with all my prego weight & no chance at doing any improvements before July. Good luck on the contest. (Even though I know you look great as you are.)
