I shook my head- did I hear that right? I went home and grounded my 12 year old for life! j/kl.g. mcfifihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15023119061411771764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6897861426902599593.post-11956132300904199462008-05-12T19:42:00.000-07:002008-05-12T19:42:00.000-07:00Go Ashtyn! When Aunt Calli was in first grade, Craig Hoelscher waited for her at the bottom of the tornado slide and when she slid down he planted a big one right on her lips! She slapped his face (Nana told her she could if any boy tried to kiss her) and the teacher settling the matter ultimately sided with Aunt Calli. That's what boys get for being naughty before they even have reason to be.Callihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14971296151557013176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6897861426902599593.post-63233183796661231752008-05-10T12:34:00.000-07:002008-05-10T12:34:00.000-07:00You would be suprised what the kids hear at school...You would be suprised what the kids hear at school. It sounds like you and her handled it well. I don't want to be on the defense and I don't know the boys who said that but sometimes kids say things they hear from older siblings or on TV, and they may not even know what they are saying even mean. All you can do is just keep an open relationship with your girls and when something really bad happens they can tell you.Pickett Fenceshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11406807826209506236noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6897861426902599593.post-22573804023103693582008-05-09T19:39:00.000-07:002008-05-09T19:39:00.000-07:00So sad that even at an early age we have to be wor...So sad that even at an early age we have to be worrying about this type of stuff going on. I am so scared for the first time my girls come home with a story like that. They are so innocent. I want to be able to keep them that way for as long as possible. It is really hard to want your little ones to do out into the 'real' world, you just want them to stay in your little bubble at home! It sounds like she is a smart girl!
